When you
arrive at Kingsford Smith Airport in Sydney you have a number of options of transport:
You can
catch an airport shuttle bus - which takes you all the way to
Bondi Beach via the eastern
suburbs; which also include Coogee and Bronte beaches, for a small fee of approx
$10.00 one way. These are available at a central counter at the
Information Bureau at Airport.
If you need
to travel on the Sydney Buses from Central Train Station you can get a 380 bus or 389 but
preferably 380 as it takes you along Campbell Parade and stops opposite all the
main streets with Backpacker Rooms available. (See below for details of a couple
of well known and reasonable Backpacker accommodation). Also if you
are looking for any other backpacker
accommodation in Sydney.
Or probably
the most efficient and quick and easy mode of transport from the City central is
the underground train service - Blue line - which takes you directly to Bondi Junction
with a connecting bus 380, to Bondi Beach.
Internet
Cafes are dotted along Campbell Parade and Hall Street in Bondi and provide
reasonable rates and great coffee!
