Bondi  World - Bronte Beach Walk

Bronte Beach –

Located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney is the next major beach along the coast from Tamarama beach, Mackenzie Bay and Bondi Beach.   It is fast becoming another icon and travel attraction for tourists and Sydneysiders also.  It has it’s own Surf Life Saving Club, a saltwater pool which was built in 1887 – at the southern end of the beach.  There is also alongside the saltwater baths the beach has it’s own natural swimming hole.   Bronte is very much a family orientated beach consisting  of a promenade, a park which has a waterfall in it and lovely norfolk pines, barbeque area and several cafes which are really popular on the weekends.
Bondi to Bronte walk – Starts unofficially at the top of Knotts Ave, near the Bondi Icebergs and is a coastal walk all the way along to Bronte Beach.  There are many historical sites and breathtaking views along the way however weekends can be very, very congested with both locals and tourists enjoying the sights while power walking, jogging, running, or just soaking up the surroundings.  I suggest you get up early if you are planning a weekend walk especially on Sundays.
