The lead up to the biggest NYE party of the Millennium was all worth it.
Whether you opted to go to the harbour side, Opera house, Darling Harbour, Bondi Beach or a number of other harbour spots you were in for a great array of fireworks, parties, and partygoers. 

While a large amount of people went into downtown, Sydney city centre for a closer view, some of us opted for a view from the heights of Bondi area where you could see the harbour bridge and Opera House fireworks! 

As promised it was a real spectacle - the fireworks co-ordinators outdid themselves once again. Just take a look at some of the pics

While later on in the evening, several huge dance parties were going down, one was heralded to be the biggest and best - "Mobile Home @ Bondi Beach". About 15,000 partygoers descended upon Bondi for a night of entertainment and full on dance. Top International DJ's, along with some of Australia's finest DJ's spun there sounds. The weather was not typically sticky and hot but instead really quite chilly, especially down at Bondi and later on in the early hours of the morning, very very damp indeed! However this did not dampen the spirit of the partygoers as you can see here!
